There's something funny about a single team having the No. number 1 as well as the no. 3 picks from the 3 and No. 1 picks from the Mut 24 coins Draft, each of them quarterbacks, but neither has met expectations. While trading for Mayfield is not a good idea, ahead of the most expensive QB draft in recent history, there is one scenario where this could actually be a positive for the Panthers -- but it is still to be determined whether Carolina has a realistic plan.

Before we look at how this deal can be a good idea Let it be known that I still don't like it, for all the same reasons I had back in May. I don't see any advantages to trading Mayfield if you're the Panthers. They're possibly the worst team of the NFC South, and Baker sure as hell isn't likely to cause Carolina to take on the Buccaneers for the division crown and it's the NFC can be such a gruesome row, particularly in the NFC West as it's difficult to see a wild card being in the near future. If this happens to be the key ingredient to bring everything together, it's a win for the team. is having to pay Baker an enormous contract for him to stay based on only a small sample size or to let him go without a price.

The effect, however can be done is at least make the Panthers more watchable in 2022. when we take the assumption they were never going to play Corral in his first year. The team is probably discussing "open competition" for the time being however when the primary hurdle is a sub-par Sam Darnold that has already proved that he isn't "the person," any pretense of the actual existence of an actual QB competition is for posterity purposes. In 2021 this was a five-team, and with Mayfield they might be ... I'm not sure, maybe 8-9?

If we accept that Mayfield is always likely to be the starter and that's when things can become intriguing. The Panthers introduced Ben McAdoo to lead the offense. At first it was a baffling decision that seemed to be destined for the same issues it faced previously in New York. McAdoo prefers to play an open, fake West Coast shotgun passing base which requires quick decisions from the quarterback, and the ability to rack up yards from the ground when flushed from the pocket. A statuesqueand aging Eli Manning was the perfectly ineffective quarterback for this setup in the same way that a statuesque Darnold does not fit.

Who's the one who fits? Baker Mayfield, and Mut 24 coins for sale Matt Corral. Then, it's seriously galaxy brain mental gymnastics to imagine Carolina was adamant about Corral being his future franchise but they wait until the 3rd round before trading for him. The idea that this team is playing chess that way does not give the team much credit. However, there is some hope Corral could become something special.
